Assistant professor, researcher
Safety and quality in healthcare are mainly quantified through protocols, checklists and technology. But as healthcare professionals perform their work and interact in interdisciplinary teams, safety and quality are also determined by less visible, hard-to-measure dimensions. I use ethnography to make such dimensions explicit, which is essential to co-create resilient care solutions and services.
