Bridging differences within interprofessional cooperation

The complexity of care issues for people with a Serious Psychiatric Disorder (EPA) requires a multidisciplinary team approach. In this study, I will look at how nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists, experience experts, etc. deal with their mutual professional differences and how this affects their interprofessional cooperation.

In this study, we aim to provide a realistic picture of the daily practice of interprofessional cooperation as it is shaped by multidisciplinary care teams in the specialized mental health care sector. We will specifically zoom in on the way in which the professionals in these teams deal with their mutual professional differences and subsequently examine how this dealing with influences the process of cooperation.
