Mohammed Badran studied anthropology in Amsterdam and also worked as a researcher and consultant with his own company MB Capacity Development. He also co-founded Syrian Volunteers in The Netherlands and organized G100 New Voices for Europe, an initiative to more robustly represent the interests of newcomers in Europe. His knowledge in the field of inclusion, integration, migration and social connection thus came both from practice and from his scholarly work.
